At least the big electric companies in Texas are starting to pick up on Wind Energy as they are investing almost $5 billion into getting the infrastructure ready for more wind farms in West Texas. Whatever the reasons, I think someone like him is much more likely to get something going with wind-power than a lot of poor, vocal environmentalists.
