lol … I need to show this to my wife. When I first met her 2 1/2 years ago, my utility bill went up almost $100 a month after she moved in. She tried to tell me it was the lights … I on the other hand, strongly suspect that her 35 minute showers had much more to do with it.

Fortunately, she has gotten a bit better over time.

Nothing like immediate reinforcement to change behavior. Hopefully this idea will catch on and be more common place in 10 years. I know i our town, when people start using electricity monitors, their KWH go down.
