EcoSmart Natural Organic Insecticides Contest

I found a brand of natural, organic insecticides called EcoSmart. They are not a new company as they have been around for over 15 years now. All of their products are made from essential plant oils that are just as effective the harmful chemical counterparts. If you don’t want to make your products and want to ensure that you are not exposed to unnecessary toxins, this is the way to go.
It contains a patented technology combines plant oils that target and block a key neurotransmitter receptor site found only in invertebrates.
You can see if you check their site to see if they sell their products in a store near you or you can buy directly through them.

Funny you bring this up because we have been looking to use some of their products. A local company here does carry their product line. One of the main reasons we are considering their line is because my company makes custom fortune cookies. Being a food manufactuer we are always looking at safer ways to get rid of pests without hurting the high standards of our products. I would love to try the HOME PEST CONTROL, ANT AND ROACH, WEED AND LAWN, AND WASP AND HORNET product lines. Thanks for the great info! Also, those who do try the products please let me know how they work as I am very interested.
Its hardly spring and we’re already starting to get ants in our house. I’d love a change at the ant product!
I would try the weed and grass killer. The one i liked to find is grab grass killer.
I think I will do both, just signed up for your feed
I believe the garden insect repellent would be most interesting to me. I am hopefully going to be buying a new home soon(crosses fingers) and when I do, I want to raise chickens and have a garden, so having something to protect my veggies, which was also safe for the environment, would be cool.
Patrick, I wanted to thank you for running this contest.
The Flying Insect Killer and Ant and Roach Killer arrived today and the cans were much larger than I was expecting. I look forward to trying out the organic pesticides.
They actually smell pretty good, much better than the chemically smell of Raid.
I think is due to the organic oils used in the EcoSmart Products, such as peppermint oil and cinnamon oil, which are the active ingredients.
I will let you know when I have had a chance to try out the EcoSmart Products.
Thanks Again!
Thanks tiger. It’s great that you received the products and I’m glad they were large cans. Keep us updated on how well they work.
who can kill all that bugs…chemistry will help us
I know it has been awhile, but wanted to offer a review of the EcoSmart Natural Flying Insect Killer.
The label states that this product can be used to kill wasps and while this is not a lie, the spray comes out in a very fine mist as opposed to a strong stream like most non-eco friendly wasp killers.
What this means is that you have to be about a foot away from the wasps in order for the mist to reach them.
Further, since the EcoSmart Flying Insect Killer is not an instantaneous killer, it is usually not possible to spray them enough to kill or disable them the first time. This results in you having to chase after the wasps in order to saturate them enough to keep them from flying away.
The plus side to the way the poison comes out in a mist is that when the wasp gets mad and decides to come after you spray them, they are usually discouraged by madly flailing around and spraying the mist into the air. This would not be as effective of a defense if the mist was instead a stream, although it would also not be necessary either.
Even though the this product specifically states it can be used on wasps, I would not advise using it for this purpose.
Instead, EcoSmart makes a spray that has a much more powerful deliver system called the EcoSmart “Wasp and Hornet Killer,” which would be a better choice for killing wasps.
Love the Home pest control. I live in an apartment and have pets.
