My city doesn’t have a recycling program, and I’ve been thinking about setting up a system for my small apartment building, for which this money would be extremely helpful. I’d like to purchase a set of bins to place in the main entryway of my building for the residents to deposit their recycling, and I’d take responsibility for driving the bins to the nearest recycling center each week. For the past 3-4 months my husband and I have been making many changes to our life and the way we do things in order to green up our act. The changes are small, subtle changes that don’t take a lot of effort, but over time will make an impact on the environment, by us being kinder to the earth and to making our home a healthier, safer, more energy efficient home to live in. We have become rather passionate about turning our home into a green home, so every little change we make takes us one step further on our green journey. I would use the money to purchase eco-friendly cleaning products! I am a bit of a clean freak, and would love to have some extra money to purchase home cleaning products that are toxic free, make of natural ingredients that will tide us over for the next 4 months or so. This money would be a tremendous help and will help us to green up our act even more! Thanks so much for the chance to enter.
