I love the whole concept and idea of going green,no more gas, etc etc, however, until the battery issues can be worked out properly,that is, getting a much longer trip out of every charge, interchangeable battery packs, or being able to have the batteries charged while driving, much like alternators have done for years in all our cars, until such time,I believe the newest site we`ll get used to seeing on our roads every day will be countless people stranded on the side of the road with a brand new technologically advanced machine, but with no power to move it..what a joke !! Get it together people before unleashing another commercial,marketing nightmare on the general public. Once again, a prime example of putting the cart before the horse.

I agree Suzanne. I mean I understand they’re supposed to be energy efficient but the smart car is just a bit too small! Almost kind of scary to take a ride in if you ask me..I think it’s a smart idea that these cars are a little bigger maybe smaller than a Toyota Prius but still bigger than the tiny smart car.

What I like about these little cars is that they are…little! Great for those compact parking spaces. Although the SmartCar is a bit ridiculous. It isn’t much larger than a golf cart.
