I teach in a high school and I know we use a LOT of paper. Luckily we have a great recycling system that involves all students in science classes. Our secretaries cut used worksheets into small squares and use those as “post-it” notes and hall passes. I charge my students a nickel every time they ask for an extra hand-out to make them more responsible with keeping everything organized and save paper!
Great post 🙂
I always avoid printing when I can at home. I also try an use both sides of the paper – I keep new sheets in my photo printer, and my older printer is filled with paper that’s already been printed on one side. Once a sheet is no longer useable then I recycle it.

I take any paper that I had to print and if the other side is bare I use that side eventually too. Like you I get very annoyed at the waste of paper especially in our school where I have complained vociferously about it.
