Often dry clean only garments could be washed in the washer. I’ve found dry clean only instruction on 100% cotton shirts which is completely unnecessary. I’ve “experimented” with washing things at home and found that wool is the only material that will shrink in the washer. Any other materials just need to be hand washed, line dried and ironed. I use Dryel (at home dry cleaning kit) to dry clean most of my clothes at home.
