Buy From Local Stores This Holidays

I have found some great deals on video games for my children at a local electronic store. I think its always a good idea to stimulate your local economy. We try to take walks and shop locally as a family. Its one of the small things we do to try to lower our carbon footprint.

Yes supporting local businesses is definitely good for your community’s economy. In this age a lot of those smaller stores are being forced to close due to competition from the big chain department stores. So without local support, many of those small stores may disappear. Even though the holidays have passed, it is always a good idea to buy locally if possible. Consider the fuel and resources required to ship an item across the country. You are helping the environment when you buy goods locally.
