I play golf occasionally but had no idea it had this much environmental benefits. More than the game itself, I enjoy being surrounded by lush greenery and breathe in the fresh air.
Same here, apart from being an enjoyable game I also enjoy very much the environment of a well-trimmed golf green.

Although I’ve never played real golf myself, only the miniature golf 😉 but I’ve always imagined that with all the greens and beautiful nature that goes with Golf, I’ve always thought that it would lead to being great for the environment.

I had never really considered all of these environmental benefits of golf courses. It’s definitely a good idea to have more green spaces. Not only does it directly help the environment, but it also gets people to appreciate nature more and treat it better.
@Aluminum, you are right about people having more of an appreciation for it, its like having a brand new car, most people will want to preserver their new car, same deal with golf and the Green! 🙂
