I think its one of the booming sector at moment. Be are already lacking with energy resources so we have to find some other energy efficient things. Nature is always ready to help us.
Green energy is not cost competitive in the marketplace when compared to oil, natural gas or coal. Without government subsidies most green energy projects with wither on the vine. The government subsidy business model is not sustainable. Some governments are doing exactly what they should be doing in times of economic hardship– tightening their belts. Major technological breakthroughs are required before green energy can stand on its own two legs and displace fossil fuels.
Let’s hope that it does start to pick the momentum back up again. Kind of unreal that we are still above 9% unemployment rate, we need to do something about that, and what better way than green jobs for sure!
