  1. I have never made my own bread crumbs and usually just buy the store brand. I think I will have to try to buy an extra loaf of bread next time I go shopping, just so I have something left over to make bread crumbs with…

  2. Fresh bread crumbs are so good! We never eat the ends of bread in our house, so I put them in the freezer and pull them out to use whenever a recipe calls for bread crumbs.

  3. It is really good when we have something left we don’t eat from our food but then we can reuse it to make another fresh food. In this case, we can learn to produce our own food while we can keep our environment clean and healthy.

  4. Good idea about freezing them Erin, I was always trying to figure out how to save them! Thanks for the suggestion.

  5. I’ve always done this =D My father used to own a bakery and there is where I first learned about it! They would also use old hard bread to make some kind of Brazilian Desert… but I don’t remember the name 🙁

    Till then,

    Jean
