A different perspective.. I liked it.. especially celebrating this labor day with relaxation.. Sometimes I just sit in the window outside and watch the scenery.
“Why not take the chance to get outdoors and enjoy nature with your family and/or friends?” I love this idea, we don’t spend enough time outside anymore with our busy lives.
I definitely took advantage of labor day by getting caught up on my sleep, as well as taking the time to walk around campus, and just to take in the sights, and the great weather that we had here today =D
As Labor Day is all bout a day off of work ,ask them about the jobs they used to have,the people that they worked with,how they got the jobs.Also about what they did on the Holiday itself how they spent it,where they went,,who went with them.
Most people in nursing homes are only to happy to chat about their days in the past as they are more comfortable about the past.So you are going to have some great stories !
your idea is very correct. we don’t spend enough time outside ,even with our famliy…anymore with our busy lives…so from now on, i will spend more time with my famliy!!!

It just so happens I spent the weekend hiking and fishing with some great friends. Always a nice way to spend some of the last days of summer!
