Nothing like immediate reinforcement to change behavior. Hopefully this idea will catch on and be more common place in 10 years. I know i our town, when people start using electricity monitors, their KWH go down.
Wow … I love this! Actually … love both your calculators … brilliant! Many people will respond to an activity when it affects their pocket book … this will show them how they can … very easily … cut costs.

Small Footprints
lol … I need to show this to my wife. When I first met her 2 1/2 years ago, my utility bill went up almost $100 a month after she moved in. She tried to tell me it was the lights … I on the other hand, strongly suspect that her 35 minute showers had much more to do with it.
Fortunately, she has gotten a bit better over time.

It’s a useful tool, but I wonder how many people will apply the lesson it offers.
I used to have long showers too, but 35 minutes? She must have a really long hair :))
This is a great tool, I am excited to share this with my wife. She is trying to make us a green family, I’m fighting though.
