Baffin Island is a beautiful area. I went there as a kid and my experiences there instigated a life long love of the outdoors and huge expanses of open country in General. Fortunately, I met and married someone who enjoys experiencing and protecting wild places as much as I do. This year we spent a week in Shenandoah National Park. Next year will be Isle Royale and the following year we are going to kayak the Boundary Waters.
I just get the fear that shooting water into the earth and robbing it of it’s heat may turn out bad after a century or two of dependency. What we need is a better photovoltaic cell. 🙂
